Construction Begins at Park & Sayer
The next stage of our Elephant and Castle redevelopment is underway, as the construction of Park & Sayer, a new phase of Zone 1 London homes, begins.

Construction has officially begun on Park & Sayer, the latest residential phase of the Elephant Park masterplan, a £2.5 billon development delivered jointly by Lendlease and Southwark Council. Park & Sayer is the next phase of homes being built at Elephant Park in central London’s zone 1. Elephant Park is part of the wider Elephant and Castle redevelopment which has already brought a new leisure centre and pool to the area to be enjoyed by local residents and workers.
If looking at Park & Sayer on a map, you’ll see it faces our beautiful two-acre park which opened in June 2021. The building itself was designed by renowned architects Arney Fender Katsalidis, in collaboration with interior designers, Johnson Naylor. Once constructed, it will sit proudly alongside our exciting new restaurant and shopping destination, Sayer Street. Many of the 229 one and two-bedroom apartments will enjoy spectacular panoramic views across London’s skyline as well as Elephant Park itself, and all will benefit from balconies or terraces.
Elephant Park is a new green heart for central London; an urban oasis giving residents direct access to nature, peace, and tranquillity within walking distance of the South Bank and many other central London destinations. We are setting new benchmarks for sustainable urban living and our ambition is to become a net zero carbon community in operation by 2025. When complete, Elephant Park will include four and a half hectares of public space, a low carbon energy centre, the planting of over 1,300 trees in the borough, and the new park; offering expansive lawns, mature trees, and the landmark Elephant Springs waterscape.
