New ultrasound diagnostic service comes to Kennington Osteopaths

Kennington Osteopaths & Physiotherapy have recently launched their new service, musculoskeletal ultrasound, in London. Unlike much of the other services Kennington Osteopaths offer, this is slightly different in that it’s not a treatment. Musculoskeletal ultrasound is an entirely safe method of diagnosis, taking the guess work out of defining the cause of pain or discomfort.
Ultrasound imaging, more commonly known as an ultrasound scan, uses soundwaves to create an accurate picture of the muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and joints within an area of the body. Having this equipment within Kennington Osteopaths & Physiotherapy means that the dedicated specialists who work there can then more accurately diagnose what’s causing your issues and provide more targeted treatment recommendations.
For example, you’re an individual that’s incredibly active. A previous bone break or tendon tear, set and repaired by the NHS, occasionally plays up and stops you from performing to the best of your ability. By booking in for a musculoskeletal ultrasound you can receive an up-to-date picture of the area itself and targeted treatment options to solve the problem.
