Looking for a different way to celebrate New Year’s Eve in London this year? Why not try one of the following top five events around Southwark.
As well as offering a spectacular, exclusive vantage point to watch the London fireworks, for one night only, the Royal Festival Hall will transport you through the decades by transforming all five floors into themed club nights. Featuring live DJs, musicians and orchestras, there will even be the opportunity to enhance your moves with tailored dance lessons. The event has also partnered with Lucky Voice so you can sing your way into 2019 while overlooking the River Thames.

If you’ve enjoyed the ice rink at Elephant & Castle this winter, why not spend your New Year’s on this frozen rooftop just across the river in Wapping. As well as getting your skates on, there is the option to book an exclusive igloo or hut for you and your guests. Watch the fireworks on one of the 12 screens and enjoy live music from a selection of DJs.
