Looking for a new kind of open-air cinema experience? Look no further! Popular London river tour company, City Cruises, in partnership with Time Out, will be running a fully packed schedule of ‘Movies on the River’ this summer.

Starting on Tuesday 4 June, you’ll have the choice of five movies per week, all the way up until August. The current timetable of films include classics such as ‘Grease’, ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ and ‘Dirty Dancing’ as well as box-office smash hits ‘The Greatest Showman’, ‘Lala Land’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, just to name a few.

Before you settle down to watch your film of choice on the exclusive cinema boat, you’ll be treated to a sunset cruise on the Thames to spot some of your favourite London sights. The boat, known as City Alpha, will be fully stocked with drinks and snacks to buy on board and, as the sun goes down, the movie will play on a large cinema screen on the vessel’s open-top deck.

Tickets to this totally unique experience are available to purchase here along with the full timetable of movies available.
