ELEPHANT GLOW AT ELEPHANT PARK
Monday 12 February – Sunday 18 February 2018 (4-8pm)
With the afterglow of Lumiere fading, all is not lost as there is a new light installation in town…
Come down to Elephant & Castle to see a set of fun, interactive and state of the art light installations to celebrate the area’s past, present and future. Your physical presence will activate the installations and the interactive element means you can light up the park whatever colour you want – maybe a rose coloured red for your valentine if you pop down on the 14th!
Brought to you by a team of young creatives from London College of Communication, Lendlease is proud to host this in Elephant Park, central London’s newest green space.
There will be three installations across the week:
This interaction illustrates the common phrase “Many hands make light work”. The projected image is revealed as more and more members of the Elephant & Castle community stand together side by side.
As the visitors get closer to different segments of this installation, parts of plants and trees start to glow brighter, pulling you in to add to the ambient beauty of Elephant Park and its surroundings.
This installation allows the visitors to feel in control of Elephant Park, by sending a tweet with #elephantglow and requesting a colour, you can decide which colour to light the park.
