Change Please
The Change Please Coffee initiative was launched in 2015, providing jobs, training, and access to housing for those in the local homeless community. Starting out with a single coffee cart in Covent Garden, they now operate at 14 locations across London and put 100 per cent of their profits into helping to alleviate homelessness.
Liam, a Change Please barista, says the following: “I feel part of a movement, part of a change in society. Everyone is part of a bigger thing. I am not just someone who makes the coffee, we are Change Please.” Change Please coffee is more than a cup of caffeine, it’s a cup of real change.
Change Please can be found on Walworth Road with a beautiful new interior which features an array of their products alongside their coffee’s and great service.
