The students of the Draper Film & Music Academy (DFMA) – part of the community-based charity Draper Together, which has received funding from Elephant Park developer Lendlease and Southwark Council – are proud to present their spring performance: a new documentary.
‘Draper Voices’ is a work-in-progress film and photo documentary, focused on the local residents, and featuring a live song written and performed by the DFMA children choir.
The documentary will showcase the writing, filming, acting and directing of the students, as well as other elements, such as animation, photography and dance – all by local children.
Luisa Pretolani, director and co-founder of Draper Together, as well as the co-founder of the Draper Residents Association, is delighted with the outcome.
“We are all very proud of the children who have collaborated and worked so hard to get this creative project together.
“It is a really impressive feat and shows how much good community spirit there is, especially among the young students we are working with.”
PLEASE NOTE: There are limited spaces at the documentary showing, but everyone is welcome – and if there is enough interest, another showing may be put on.
Please email email@example.com to register your interest.
