Draper Together – inspiring children in Elephant & Castle

WHEN:  Every Saturday @ 3pm from 16 Feb to 11 May (two hours)
WHERE: Draper Hall, Hampton Street, corner of Newington Butts, SE17 3AN
COST: FREE

Every Saturday afternoon, from now until May, local children aged 7 to 12 years old are invited to get inspired with free film and performing arts classes.

Held at Draper Hall, and hosted by community group Draper Together, the classes are open to any children who live in the local area who want to learn more about film, photography, music and more.

The two-hour sessions, held every Saturday from 3pm, are backed by Southwark Council and are hosted by tutors with experience in a range of arts including animation, dance and singing.

Draper Together’s aim is to bring different communities and groups together through events and activities – building “a stronger community through social regeneration… and acting as a bridge between the new and old communities of the Elephant and Castle neighbourhood”.
