Not only is the London restaurant scene becoming increasingly vegan-friendly - It’s also the most stress-free and convenient that we’ve seen, with all the below options available for delivery. Check out this round-up of some the best vegan restaurants London has to offer and enjoy a taste of Elephant and Castle from the comfort of your own home.
Beza, founded by Beza Ethio, serves a fully vegan menu cooked with ingredients and spices imported from Ethiopia. Everything on the menu is authentically Ethiopian, and each flavour-packed dish is served with rice or injera – a sourdough flatbread. “Our menu is alive with truly delicious and healthy seasonal food, all served in a beautiful setting, and everything on the menu is 100 per cent vegan,” says Beza, who started her culinary journey at Camden Market almost 15 years ago.
As of January 12th, they’re open for takeaway via Deliveroo until 10pm every week Tuesday – Sunday with an all-new vegan menu. Email them at [email protected] or follow them on Instagram for up-to-date information.

Koi Ramen Bar
Local Japanese favourite KOI Ramen Bar, also on Sayer Street, presents a small menu that stays big on flavour. They’ve been picked as a TimeOut Cheap Eat of the Week, called ‘outstanding’ by top food critic Giles Coren, and recommended by the Evening Standard. They’re not exclusively vegan though, so consider yourself warned if reading through the meaty menu is likely to derail your January progress. Try adding fried tofu to the Mellow Miso Ramen or Old Skool Shoryu, then choose either rice or wheat noodles for something sure to keep you warm this winter.
They’re currently doing takeaway from their Elephant and Castle branch every day from 11:30am – 10pm. Via Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.
Unit 3, 19 Sayer Street, SE17 1FY
Tasty Jerk has been part of Elephant & Castle’s eclectic community for years, but this year marks only their second Veganuary since moving to Sayer Street. Specialising in Caribbean cuisine, Tasty Jerk gained popularity in Artworks Elephant serving up much-loved favourites like Jerk Chicken and Spicy Goat Curry. But while they’re best-loved for their signature chicken dish, there’s no shortage of plant-based choices. Vegan options on the Caribbean menu include Ackee with Sweet Pepper, Onions & Fresh Herbs, and Vegetable Curry Stew.
After a brief Christmas closure, they’re now open for delivery via their mobile-friendly website and via Deliveroo. Stay up to date via Instagram @tasty_jerk.

Borough Market is rich with history, but it remains as relevant now as it has ever been. While markets have had to contend with a tough 2020, it’s no surprise that the traders of Borough Market – many of them serving vegan food good enough to rival any vegan restaurant London has to offer – have found a way to adapt to restrictions in true trail-blazing fashion.
Thanks to a partnership with goodsixty.co.uk, Borough Market produce can be ordered online and delivered at the click of a button. Traders include the renowned greengrocers Turnips, whose veg boxes are frequently sold to Elephant & Castle residents and Michelin star restaurants alike.
