When the COVID pandemic hit, we watched our offices, shops, restaurants and businesses close. At first, the novelty of working from home was great, and many employees – to this day – still relish the opportunity to do just that.

With many employees now seeking more flexibility in a post-COVID world, many companies are offering a mix of home and office working. And if you’re self-employed, a freelancer or a small business, you may want the same opportunity to separate work from home life. So here is a round up of the best offices in Elephant and Castle, from coworking spaces to fully serviced office options.

Hotel Elephant

This not-for-profit workspace was established in 2009 by two local artists to create an office in Elephant and Castle that provides space for arts, culture and enterprise. And, in 2016, it launched co-working space Spare Street. Offering hot-desking, dedicated desks and private offices, as well as a public event and meeting space, a gallery and its Sidecar Coffee Bar, this relaxed workspace is great for people to gather, work and exchange ideas.

This private members’ club and flexible office space is a new venture from the team behind legendary superclub Ministry of Sound. Workers can choose from private, open or fixed-desk options and gain business advice, and more.
