"Festive Elephant" Winter Illuminations
Join us this festive period for music, festive food and drinks, our light switch-on and much more..
On Saturday 27th November 2021, Elephant Park and Castle Square will be turning on their Christmas lights! Join us for an afternoon full of activities for everyone to enjoy from 2pm – 6pm.
From 2pm - 6pm, two ‘Instagrammable’ Christmas themed grottos will be open on Castle Square for the community to enjoy, alongside performances and Carol Singers around Sayer Street, Deacon Street, Ash Avenue and Castle Square.
As the sun goes down, you can begin your illumination journey with us on Sayer Street at 4.30pm for the best view of the lights switching on along The Living Room. Follow the winter lights trail through Sayer Street to the wildflower meadow and park as each area is magically lit up before finishing in Castle Square to see the giant Christmas tree be lit at 5pm.
Upcoming Free festive Performances
Beginning in Ash Avenue beside Elephant Stores & 400 Rabbits, moving to the Corner of Sayer Street/Deacon Street and ending in Sayer Street South near Nunhead Gardener and Tap In – join us every weekend for free performances moving around Elephant Park. You can also find Instagrammable Christmas grottos in Castle Square on Saturday’s. Keeping you entertained and in high spirits this festive season!
